NeedyNets is NYCwireless program that brings the wireless networking skills of our members to the assistance of low incoming housing residents in NYC. The NeedyNets program has worked closely with Dunn Development and Community Access to unwire 4 affordable housing buildings in Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx. A core value of this program is that access to information is a success factor in overcoming socio-economic disadvantages some New Yorkers face.
