Factors is Ampere, Volt, cable diameter, cable material (copper) and length.Anyway maximum length of the cable PoE UTP 5cat.
Input Voltage 9 V: < 30 m
Input Voltage 12 V: < 60 m

Cross the river to Jersey and the price drops.
